The Welsh Development Agency's Biz Clinic rolls into Haverfordwest next Tuesday, April 6, to provide help and support to local people thinking of starting a business.

The clinics, which are now into their second successful year, are an opportunity for potential entrepreneurs to discuss their business ideas with local business support providers and to take their plans to the next stage. The events are being held due to an overwhelming response to the recent WDA campaign to encourage people in Wales to make their business dreams a reality.

Visitors to the event, at Pembrokeshire College, will have access to expert advice on a range of business issues as a host of agencies unite under one roof to provide a one-stop-shop for budding business people. It will take place between 2 and 8 pm.

Anna Mee, media executive on the WDA's Entrepreneurship Action Plan, said: "Wales is becoming more entrepreneurial and this event is designed to give a helping hand to all those who have dreamt of starting their own business but just need some advice and encouragement in order to take the plunge.

"The clinics offer visitors advice and support designed to make starting a business an easier and viable option whatever your age or background."

Anna added: "A key aim of the Entrepreneurship Action Plan and its activities is to encourage many more people across Wales to start their own businesses. The reaction we've had so far has been outstanding. It's a good sign that people all over the country are realising that their business dreams are attainable."
