The Rt. Rev. Wyn Evans, the Bishop of St. David's rededicated the extended churchyard, the bells and the clock, along with other restoration work at St. James' the Great, Manorbier, on Sunday in the presence of a large congregation from Redberth, St. Florence and Manorbier.

The bells were heard to ring for the first time in almost 40 years, and the children of Manorbier and St. Florence schools sang during the service.

The Vicar, the Rev. Sharon Swain, stated that the restoration work had taken many years to complete, and she thanked all those who had been involved in the work.
