Bishop Wyn Evans, the Bishop of St. David's, is journeying around the diocese and is hoping to visit each parish and every one of the 340 churches.
This last week he visited three local churches as his journey brought him to Saundersfoot, Amroth and Marros, where the Rector, Rev. Marianne Osborne, guided him around the parish.
His first stop was assembly in Saundersfoot CP School, then on to St. Lawrence Church in Marros, where he consecrated a new burial ground.
Time for lunch, which was held in St. Elidyrs Church in Amroth and gave Bishop Wyn a chance to meet with some of the parishioners from the three churches in the parish and answer their questions.
During the afternoon, Bishop Wyn, together with Rev. Canon Paul Mackness, visited the Regency Hall.
The day culminated with a Eucharistic service in St. Issell's Church, where the St Issells Brownies, Guides and Senior Section were delighted to parade their new flags and present them to the Bishop at the altar.
Rev. Marianne Osborne is chaplain to Girlguiding Pembrokeshire and the local Guiding units are delighted to have her residing in their village and were pleased to support her and have the opportunity of meeting the Bishop. It certainly was a day to remember.
