Pictured with Rev. Canon Andrew Davies, Rector of Tenby, is Mr. Ray Oak, who celebrated a very significant birthday recently.

Ray, a greatly loved and respected member of St. Mary's, reached his 90th year on October 16 and has been celebrating ever since!

Born in Dublin, of Latvian parents, Ray and his family moved to Tenby in 1977. He has enjoyed a long and rewarding connection with the church and with Rector Andrew since he (Rev. Andrew) was a curate in Tenby many moons ago.

At the morning service last Sunday, friends in the congregation were able, along with his daughter, Roz, to congratulate Ray on his momentous birthday, raising a glass and enjoying a slice of his delicious 90th birthday cake.
