Mrs. Matilda (Tumbles) F. E. Pearce celebrated her 90th birthday at South Pembs. Golf Club Restaurant recently.

Tumbles is seen seated centre front with members and friends of the Union of Catholic Mother's of which she has been associated with for 53 years. She has been president for 20 years.

Mrs. Carol Chichester, secretary of Pembroke Dock and the diocese, arranged the luncheon and a surprise presentation to Tumbles. It was a very memorable few hours and Tumbles was honoured to receive a Papal blessing.
