Part of their Global Challenge required the 1st Tenby Cub Pack to find out about an international charity and do something about raising awareness and helping towards it. It was decided to support St. Mary's Church youth leader, Denz Dempsey, who needs to raise £2,000 to travel to Cape Town in South Africa in September.

Denz, along with other volunteers, will, working with the family concerned, build a home in a week. This will be for Desmond Tuto's 'Building on Faith, Habitat for Humanity' project.

It was decided to have a coffee evening with a talk by Denz, and bingo with the Cubs in charge! Thanks to Caldey, Folly Farm, all parents, grandparents and friends, not forgetting John Butland for his kind donation of milk, for supporting the Cubs.

The event was very successful and the Cubs can congratulate themselves on raising £135 towards the project.
