A successful and enjoyable bingo night was held recently to raise money for Templetots Playgroup. A total of £190 was raised, which was matched pound for pound as part of the Barclays Community Investment Programme. Jean King, community manager, said: "At Barclays we strive to strengthen local communities in which we live and work by supporting a range of causes. This is a great example of Barclays staff fund- raising with the local community to achieve something which we hope will make a real and lasting difference." The money raised will help towards buying IT equipment. The playgroup would like to thank everyone who attended, those who donated prizes and the entertaining bingo caller!
