Chloe Whittock, of Bevlin, Llanteg, who is a finalist in the Miss Wales competition in Cardiff on July 7, held another fund-raising event on June 16. Following on from the successful gymkhana in May, Chloe raised another £150 for the Joshua Foundation at a charity bingo evening in Llanteg Hall. The bingo caller was John Lewis-Tunster and, as well as nine games of bingo, there were also scrumptious refreshments, a raffle and name the teddy competition (which was won by Winifred Tunster). Chloe would like to thank everyone who helped towards the event in any way and raised money for this worthwhile cause. Chloe also kindly donated the surplus prizes to the Crunwere Church Strawberry Tea fund-raiser for this Sunday, June 24.
