In line with the Dyfed-Powys Police's commitment to road safety and casualty reduction, a further three motorcycling events are to be held in the coming months across the force area. These are part of the nationally led initiative, Bike Safe Cymru, supported by the four Welsh forces and various community partners and businesses.
Police motorcyclists will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on all aspects of motorcycling, be it bike security, legality or riding techniques. The highlight for most visitors will be the opportunity for an observed ride on the public road with a police motorcyclist in tow. Constructive feedback will then be offered on the rider's ability and general riding demeanour.
The first will be this Sunday, July 15, at Garland and Griffiths motorcycle dealership, Merlins Bridge, Haverfordwest. The event will be fully supported by the staff at Garland and Griffiths who will be opening their facilities as part of the day's events.
