Much of Tudor Square's congestion problems on a Saturday night could be alleviated with an extended taxi rank, believes a Tenby councillor.
Clr. John Griffiths told his colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council that the sooner taxis were able to disperse out of the square, the less problems there would be, especially during the busy summer period. "This idea, which I know was discussed before with the county council's John Price, would be of a benefit to everyone, and could also help to avoid situations involving anti-social behaviour," commented Clr. Griffiths.
Clr. Mike Evans said that he expected a full review of on-street parking within Tenby to be conducted once a decision on the pedestrianisation scheme was made.
