Pembrokeshire College Netball Academy travelled away last week to play against Merthyr Tydfil. The girls were looking forward to this match due to the fact that they had a strong team of 12.

In the first quarter, Pembrokeshire College performed some excellent netball, with Lisa Hassal and Sarah Owens feeding good passes into the shooters. The shooters, Layla Manning and Sophie Rees, performed outstandingly to put away 14 goals between them.

Also the defenders from Pembrokeshire College, Charlotte Gardham and Eleri Griffiths, continued to perform effectively by only conceding just one goal in this quarter.

In the third quarter, the girls continued to dominate the game with substitutes Saska Duthie and Sian Nevatte making some good passes down the court.

In the final quarter, Pembrokeshire College continued to make changes to the team, with Katy Evans and Amy Kendall coming on to provide the centre court with stability.

Pembs College continued to play well and keep the pressure on, which gave Merthyr Tydfil no chance of winning the match.
