Matt Evans and Chris Brace are delighted with the response, not only from the players, but also the people of Tenby who have expressed their total support, confirming that they are looking forward to watching the rugby match on Boxing Day to help raise money for the trust fund.
A lot of people have also expressed their delight that there will be a fully licensed bar serving refreshments, kindly supplied by Phillip Kidney, and also a mouth-watering pig roast, kindly supplied by Matt from the Qube Restaurant.
Matt and Chris would like to remind everyone that the rugby match has a new, slightly later kick-off time, switching from 1.30 to 2 pm to give players and spectators more time to get from the Boxing Day Swim up to the rugby ground. The rugby ground and bar will be open from 12.30 pm.
In addition, the cost to play for the Barbarians is £10, but you can pay £20, which will register you to play in the rugby match and also purchase your very own Tenby Barbarian polo shirt (pictured).
To register, please log on to the Tenby Barbarian website http://www.tenbybarbarians.co.uk">www.tenbybarbarians.co.uk or just turn up on Boxing Day, as all Tenby Barbarians have as much or as little playing time as they wish and a lot of fun and a great time for a worthwhile trust fund.
If you register through the website, then you will be able to order and reserve your very own Tenby Barbarian polo shirt, but if you turn up on Boxing Day and have not registered via the website, then we cannot guarantee that you will be able to purchase a Tenby Barbarian polo shirt as demand is very high and stock is limited.
