Young people are being warned of the dangers posed by derelict buildings. At the Pembroke Police and Communities Together meeting, PACT residents raised concerns about the security of derelict buildings in the area.

The team were also made aware of continued anti-social behaviour in Devon Drive, The Green and Monkton.

PCSO Dave Powell said: "We would like to remind young people that derelict buildings can pose risks. They are not playgrounds; by entering the site unsupervised you are immediately putting yourself at danger.

"We will be increasing our patrols in the area and we will be speaking to the owners of properties to ensure they are safely secured."

The Pembroke PACT meetings take place on the third Wednesday of every month at the Town Hall, Pembroke, from 7-9 pm.
