Additional signage is needed on the route to Tenby harbour, claimed a town councillor this week.
Clr. Mrs. Sandra Williams told her fellow members at at meeting of the town council on Tuesday evening that she had been approached by a number of harbour-users who were concerned that too many motorists head down to the area in big vehicles and also carrying caravans with no clue that there was very little space to turnaround.
"They'd like to see some additional signage displayed to explain that there is no real through road once you get beyond Tudor Square," commented Clr. Mrs. Williams.
Town clerk Mr. Andrew Davies said that Ben Blake, of Pembrokeshire County Council's traffic management department had been contacted and he already had the matter in hand, with plans for new signage to be placed on White Lion corner to assist visitors and tourists to the town with regards to taking vehicles down to the harbour area.
