Sir, I am the Better Advice: Better Health caseworker from within Pembroke and District Citizens Advice Bureau. I run an advice session at Tenby Cottage Hospital taking referrals from local GP's and hospitals. I also carry out home visits when required. This service for GP's has been funded by the Welsh Assembly. It can be very varied, and ranges from general advice on any subject to representation at tribunal for benefit appeals. I am currently running a campaign to raise awareness of Council Tax Benefit and improve the uptake in the area. There are many people not taking advantage of this benefit, mainly homeowners not realising their entitlement as they may not qualify for other benefits.
