Pembrokeshire County Council plans to resurface the road at a notorious accident blackspot in Tenby after the summer. The resurfacing material laid at Bells Corner will contain a high grip stone. The footway will also be resurfaced and new kerbing put in place, the local authority has confirmed. "We are unable to undertake this work before the end of the summer as Bells Corner is on a major tourist route and work would create too much traffic disruption," said a spokeswoman for the council this week. In the meantime, 'slippery road' warning signs have been installed. Local county councillor Michael Williams has been campaigning for road improvements at the location for some time and wrote renewing his calls following another accident there on Saturday.
