The Begelly Golden Age Club held their annual Christmas lunch at the Giltar Hotel Tenby on January 17. The tables had been decorated in a festive theme; 51 members enjoyed lunch which was both excellent and substantial.
Each member took a present labelled Lady and Gentleman and received one in return. A raffle organised by Raydene Waters was a great success; there was a large number of very good prizes.
A beautiful bouquet of flowers was presented to Betty Frazer and an inscribed tankard to Peter Frazer in recognition of their work for the club. The club secretary then presented a bouquet on behalf of the club to Sheila John as a token of thanks for her work as chair of the club.
