This coming weekend, the the first annual 'Beer Festival' is on in Pembroke Dock.

It's at the Pater Hall and there will be music, Welsh beers, wines and ciders.

This festival intends to not only provide samples of 18 to 20 real ales that are brewed here in Wales, but also provide non-beer drinkers with the chance to sample both grape and fruit wines which have a Welsh connection.

It is intended to be a day not only for the beer drinking members of the community, but great fun for all the family as well.

During the weekend, there will be four local bands playing at the festival, starting with James Smiles and the Telekenetics on Friday evening, Saturday a local school band will be on during the afternoon and they will be followed by Shanty Le Hara in the early evening and Roccanna for the grand finalé.

In addition, local restaurants will be open in the evenings together with coffee bars for anyone who wants something more filling than the snacks and nibbles that will be available within the hall.

It promises to be a really good event, do come along and enjoy great Welsh beers and wines with music from good local bands.

The weekend starts at 5 pm on Friday and the fun recommences at 11.30 am Saturday morning 'til 11.30 pm at night.

We look forward to seeing you there!
