Pembrokeshire police are giving residents and business a chance to find out how they can 'Beat the burglar'.
Dyfed Powys Police, in conjunction with the Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership, are holding two burglary seminars.
The seminar will be aimed at residents in the morning and businesses in the afternoon.
In the morning, which runs from 10 am - 12 noon, there will be talk from burglary reduction officer, Mark Jones, and also opportunities to find out more about Neighbourhood Watch schemes and crime prevention.
In the afternoon, Karen Burch, the regional police business liaison officer, will give a talk to businesses.
Throughout the day, people will be able to pop in and collect information and meet members of their local Neighbourhood Policing Teams and have a chance of solving a mock crime scene.
PC Sue Blacklaw-Jones said: "Pembrokeshire has a low burglary rate; however, the national prediction is that crimes like this will increase due to the recession. By taking simple steps, both businesses and residents can make life harder for criminals and help us keep Pembrokeshire a safe place to live and work."
The seminars are taking place on April 2 at Pater Hall, Pembroke, and April 3 at Withybush Pavilion, Haverfordwest. The residents session runs from 10 - 12 noon and is open from 1 - 3 pm for businesses.
