Freshwater East Coastcare Group in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy and the Marine Conservation Society's 'Adopt a Beach' are having a Beach Clean tomorrow (Saturday) at 12 noon, whatever the weather.
Volunteers are needed to help pick up and bag any rubbish found on Freshwater East beach and dunes. The beach clean and surveys are carried out at least four times a year and the information gathered will be used to raise awareness of the problems and dangers of coastal and marine litter.
Anyone interested in helping should meet at the main car park at Freshwater East. Suitable and waterproof clothing is advisable. Plastic gloves and bags are provided. For further information, telephone (01646) 672046.
