A brother and sister have been recovering this week after an accident on Pendine Beach.
The accident occurred on Monday afternoon when a sand yacht collided with a 64-year-old man, who was digging for lug worms.
As a result of being struck by the yacht, which was from the nearby Morfa Bay Activity Centre, the man, who was from Ammanford, fell backwards hitting his sister.
The woman, also aged 64, was then believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.
She was airlifted by the Welsh Air Ambulance to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, for treatment, while her brother, who sustained a fractured arm, was taken to Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.
