If you fancy making a collage from woodland materials, being creative with clay or helping to draw a giant garden mural, why not visit the National Trust's Colby Woodland Garden on Sunday, October 21, and take part in 'The Colby Big Draw'? As part of the national Big Draw event which takes place every year in October, the idea is to encourage everyone to 'have a go' in a relaxed atmosphere and most of all to have fun in the process. Head gardener Steve Whitehead said: "The Big Draw is now an annual event for us here at Colby and it's fascinating to see not just children, but adults too getting involved and enjoying themselves." Tenby Portrait Group will also be demonstrating their skills in the Gallery at Colby throughout the day. Anyone wishing to sit for the group will be welcomed, and members will be delighted to give hints and tips to any would-be portrait artists. The free activities will take place between 11 am and 3.30 pm. Normal admission to the garden applies (National Trust members and under 5s free). Further information is available by phoning 01834 811885.

Fun for all at last year’s Colby Big Draw.
