High winds and heavy rain have again battered south Pembrokeshire this week.

Flooding incidents at Amroth sea front, Saundersfoot railway bridge and on the highway at Sageston were reported after stormy weather on Monday night into Tuesday morning.

There were also reports of localised flooding - mainly surface water - on some highways and on Tuesday morning county council workmen were engaged in a clean-up operation in various parts of the county following the uprooting of several trees.

High winds also forced the closure of the Cleddau Bridge to high-sided vehicles during the early hours of Tuesday morning and flood warnings were received for the Pembroke Dock and Angle area and Newgale.
