Pembrokeshire Worships got off to a barnstorming start last Saturday night when Pembroke Dock's Pater Hall was filled with Christians from an encouraging range of churches throughout the county.

"It was thrilling to see so many people coming together to worship God on a Saturday night," said Pastor Rob James, of Pembroke.

"Everything was done so professionally. People had practised and prayed for weeks and it was so encouraging to see folk coming from as far afield as Leeds and Ghana to take part.

"I know that those behind this new initiative are passionate about church unity and would love lots of other churches to become part of all they are trying to do.

"I want to thank everyone who made this possible, especially the other church leaders who are already on board and are keen to see God use contemporary music to show His love and reveal His power. I am convinced things can only get better and can't wait for the next event. Watch this space."
