The countdown has begun for this year's Cardiff Half Marathon and Barnardo's Cymru is urging its supporters to register as runners and get training for Wales's largest race and flagship running event in 2010.
The Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, October 17, and we are urging runners to guarantee their places early.
The Cardiff Half Marathon's official charity is Barnardo's, who help vulnerable children turn their lives around. They support young people all across the UK.
We need help to continue delivering our services to help children and young people living in poverty.
Over a third of Welsh families are surviving on just £10 each day. Help us turn lives around. Your support will make a difference to the lives of children, young people and families living on the margins of society who are struggling to overcome the disadvantages caused by poverty, abuse and discrimination."
