RECENTLY appointed to an area manager's post with National Westminster Bank is Mrs. Janet Phillips, of Aelybryn, Llanddewi Velfrey.
Married to Owen, a self- employed carpenter, she began her career with the bank when she left Whitland Grammar School 20 years ago and has previously worked within the Haverfordwest and Carmarthen branches.
Mrs. Phillips is one of the twin daughters of Sir Eric and Lady Maisie Howells.
