Saundersfoot's County Council representative Phil Baker says he's been contacted by a number of residents regarding the imminent closure of the local HSBC Bank in the village.
As we reported last week, the branch on The Strand will be closed on April 3.
Said Clr. Baker this week: "It is disappointing that this service is being withdrawn as it makes the use of traditional banking for Saundersfoot residents, businesses and visitors very difficult and during the summer months virtually impossible.
"However, I believe that it will give us opportunities to support other existing banking providers in the village."
