Building on last year's hugely successful gigs, featuring some of the best local talent, Tenby Rugby Club will tonight (Friday), host its latest event. Organised by local band My Significant Other (pictured) this evening promises to be another great night. Winners of the Pembroke 'Battle of the Bands' competition, the band had an amazing 2006, culminating in recording their first album, 'It Starts', at Winderton Studios, New Hedges. Made up of brothers Liam and Jordan Watkins, Paul Hodge and Joe Lewis, the band have a great fan base locally and further afield after playing all over the county. The boys have decided to branch out and bring in a few bigger bands over the next few months to attract a wider and more diverse audience. The line-up for tonight is Order 66, Winch House, MSO, The Story so Far and headliners Said Mike. Order 66 and Winch will be familiar faces as they have regularly played with MSO at previous events. The Story So Far are a Cardiff-based Powerpop group, while Said Mike are a five-piece Synth/Rock band from Pontypridd. Doors open at 7 pm, first band on at 7.30 pm, £4 on the door. Details of this and all forthcoming gigs can be found on the band's MySpace site at http://www.myspace.com/mysigother">www.myspace.com/mysigother.
