Police at Narberth are making inquiries into a distraction burglary.
The incident occurred sometime between 1.30 and 2.30 pm last Wednesday, October 31, when an elderly lady, living between Cold Blow and Princes Gate, was visited by two male persons.
Both were described as being of Asian appearance. One was middle aged and the other about 18-20 years of age.
Whilst the older male was trying to sell clothing to the lady, the second male distracted her and property was stolen from her kitchen, including a blue straw shopping bag which contained her handbag, credit card and pension book, together with about £80 in cash.
The following day, all the property, except the cash, was found in a skip situated in Hill Park, Narberth.
Police are appealing for anyone who has any information about similarly described persons calling at their homes, or who saw anyone depositing the property in the skip, or saw these persons in a vehicle, to contact Narberth police station on 860389 or Tenby CID on 842303.
