This month saw the Youth Awards Pembs recognize 39 outstanding young individuals for their bravery, courage, and resilient personalities from all across Pembrokeshire.
A team of judges had the almost impossible task of shortlisting nominated individuals who were invited with their friends and family to attend the youth recognition evening, held at Haverfordwest High VC School on Saturday, September 16.
The night was hosted by a trio of inspiring young individuals - Noah Pooley, Logan Coombes, and Calli Turner, who presented ten particular young achievers with awards spanning ten different categories.
The award categories ranged from the ‘Young Entrepreneur Award’ (presented to Jessica Kenniford and supported by Ascona Foundation), to the ‘Wales’ Shining Star Award’ (presented to Myles Evans with the support of Oakwood Theme Park).

Alongside the awards presentations, distinguished speakers from Church Army and Action For Children, Lyn Edwards (one of our judges), and Noah Pooley (one of the evening's hosts), shared their insights and words of encouragement, underscoring the importance of nurturing young talent and recognising their achievements.
Their presence and words resonated deeply with the audience, leaving an indelible mark on the evening.
Additionally, the event showcased the remarkable musical talents of Eliza (harpist) and Jencyn (pianist) who provided enchanting entertainment for all of this year's guests.
This year's youth awards were supported by a number of local businesses, namely - Whitestone Media Group, Folly Farm, Ascona Foundation, Church Army, and Oakwood Theme Park.

Action For Children, a children's charity created to support the most vulnerable young people across the UK, also played a big part in supporting this year's youth recognition evening, and organisers were lucky to have a few of its representatives help present the ‘Overcoming Adversity Award’.
All of the Youth Awards Pembs team would like to express their sincerest appreciation for the tremendous support they receive this year, making it possible to bring together a wide range of inspirational young people from all over Pembrokeshire.
