Narberth CP School has received a grant for £1,700 to help establish a Breakfast Club within the school by supporting staff costs and purchase of equipment, from the lottery funded grants programme 'Awards for All Wales.'
The club, which opened its doors in January, has already shown its popularity with 10-12 pupils attending every morning. This facility will enable parents who are working or furthering their training to ensure their children can have a good breakfast and safe care in a familiar environment from 7.45 am onwards.
Many parents who have taken advantage of this provision have commented on the difference it has made to their needs and how much the children enjoy the facility.
