Pembrokeshire's top young swimmers took part in a skills camp this month.
Seventeen of the best swimmers from five county clubs pooled their talent at Pembroke Leisure Centre on Saturday, October 8.
The training camp - the first in a series - is part of a development pathway for top swimmers organised by Pembrokeshire Leisure's swimming development coach, Paul Dowey.
The nine to 12-year-olds were put through their paces by Paul, aided by two new assistant development coaches, Chris Davies and Chelsea Kendall.
The new part-time coaching roles have been jointly funded by Sport Wales and Swim Wales.
During the skills camp, the youngsters took part in swim sessions, gym work and team building tasks and were also given talks on nutrition.
"These skill camps are a great opportunity to bring the top young swimmers from across the county together to train," said Paul.
"It was also good to be able to stand back and give our young assistant coaches an opportunity to demonstrate their own skills."
The skills camps are designed for youngsters who already swim competitively with their local clubs - Haverfordwest Seals, Milford Haven Tigers, Pembroke and District, Tenby Dolphins and Fishguard Flyers.
