Autograss action returns to the Pembroke Autograss Club's home track near Lamphey this Sunday. It will be the third qualifying round for the National Championships and as usual a large entry is anticipated.

Back on form is Class 6 national champion and runner-up in the British, Nathan Rees from Johnston, driving his PAC57 Micra powered by a two-litre Vauxhall engine.

Along with Nathan, Gary Phillips will be hoping for some good results as he tries to maintain top place in Class 1, but will be chased all the way by Will Elford from Pembroke Dock, who is only a few points behind Gary, who finished fourth in the Nationals last year.

In Class 2, the entry has increased this year, with the youngsters coming out on top so far, with Dalton Thomas PAC48 and Mathew Sawyer PAC51 holding the top two positions.

With the points very close in several of the other classes, the action is going to be very close and exciting because qualifying for the Nationals is a great achievement and honour to represent your club.

The action starts at 12 noon and for further details contact Michaela on (01646) 686253.
