Children's author Dan Anthony dropped in to a meeting of young readers recently.

The author of the Rugby Zombies series visited Tenby's Chatterbooks Reading Group.

The group of Year 6 pupils from St. Teilo's School meet regularly after school at Tenby Library to read and discuss books.

Dan joined the group to talk about his Rugby Zombies series of books after they read the first title - 'The Rugby Zombies'.

Dan said he was delighted to hear that the youngsters had enjoyed his work.

"It was great fun meeting everyone and listening to them discussing my book. I think they liked it because they gave it 60/70 which is a pretty high score!" he said.

The Chatterbooks Group is a partnership between Tenby Library and St. Teilo's School, run by library assistants Cathy Butler and Miffany White.
