People across the UK have continued to share their stunning snaps of the northern lights glowing across the country, as the aurora appeared for the second night in a row on Monday.
Even though cloudy skies limited views on Monday night, many vantage points still gave a good view of the rare light phenomenon. which is formed by a solar flare erupting on the Sun, sending charged particles towards Earth which interact with our atmosphere.
Professional and amateur photographers alike were out in force again on Monday evening across Pembrokeshire and other parts of Wales, with cameras able to detect the colours of an aurora better than the human eye and when used with long exposures, colours will become more vibrant.
Local Kay Howells shared these snaps of the aurora borealis taken on Monday night at 9 pm in Sardis, near Kilgetty with her iPhone...and no filter!
