Over the last couple of weeks at Saundersfoot CP School, children have been really busy getting involved in many athletic events.
Year 2 children took part in a sports festival at Greenhill School, where they completed a variety of activities and were helped on the day by GCSE PE students.
Pupils from Years 4 to 6 have taken part in the Tenby area sports and also in the Dyfed Athletics in Carmarthen.
Children included: Charlie Law, Jacob Thomas, Laura Webber, Millie Dibble-Chwistek, Rhiannon Thomas, Ffion Davies, Fraser Finlay, Lorcan Williams, Neirin Guest, Miles Thompstone, Megan Cook, Jessica Bradley, Finlay Bowie, Isabelle McGreevy, Esme Greer, Jevon Thomas and Harri Williams.
Saundersfoot were joint first place with Tenby in the area sports and did exceptionally well in Carmarthen too.
Special congratulations to Fraser Finlay who came second in sprint, Charlie Law who came first in shot putt and to Ffion Davies in hurdles, all of which have qualified to represent Dyfed in the next competition on July 14 in Swansea.
A huge well done to all children who represented the school in these events! We are very proud of you!
