Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of anti-social behaviour at Golden Grove School in Pembroke Dock.

A fire was set in the nature woodland area within the school grounds and caused a considerable amount of damage to a wooden pagoda.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team in St. Mary's ward is urging members of the community to assist in their enquiries to find those responsible.

Children who attend the school, which is located on the Commons Road, used the area for some lessons - but following the fire are now unable to do so as the pagoda is potentially unsafe for this to take place.

PCSO Carla Thomas from the Pembroke Dock Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "This was a senseless act on an area enjoyed by the children. It is important that we find those responsible and with public assistance we can help to ensure that the offenders are identified. Additionally, to help combat these incidents we need members of the community to tell us about it. If people see any suspicious or anti-social activities, please report it to us and police officers will deal with the incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.

"Anyone who feels they have suffered anti-social behaviour can report it to us by calling 101."
