There has been good news this week for two local organisations who have been awarded Arts Council of Wales lottery grants.
Narberth-based SPAN (South Pembrokeshire Arts Network) have been awarded an Arts for All grant of £42,742 to fund a one year pilot project to expand the work of the group through a programme of workshops, events and performances.
Redwing Ceili Band, meanwhile, will be using their £7,740 capital grant to purchase PA equipment, instruments, a camcorder and mini disc recorder.
The ceili/twmpath band is based around the Narberth area and is accessible to everyone who enjoys traditional music and dance.
