AN exhibition, including paintings of Tenby, by artist Dai Davies, is going on show in the resort later this month.
The exhibition at the Goscar Gallery, County Clothes, opens on June 25 and runs for a month. Born in South Wales, Dai trained as a professional opera singer in Italy, before becoming a professional artist.
Although he travels extensively these days, living for periods in Greece, France and Italy, he has a great longing to settle one day in his beloved Tenby, as it was here, as a child, he would come on yearly camping holidays with his family. Dai holds exhibitions regularly in the UK in private galleries and museums.
In addition to his painting travels, Dai's subject matter ranges from days out on the fabulous beaches of his native Wales, to beautiful, intimate moments which both reveal and express his love for music.
His work has sold throughout the UK and can be found in private collections in New York, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and New Zealand.
