Organised by Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism, the Saundersfoot Cawl Factor 2016 will incorporate the already well-established and hugely popular ‘Cawl Championship of the World and Elsewhere.’ The event is being held on Saturday, March 12, from 10 am until 4 pm, at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot.

This year the event has been re-styled as ‘The Saundersfoot Cawl Factor 2016’, a one-day event with additional free attractions at the Regency Hall. This will include artisan craft makers and producers demonstrating their skills throughout the day.

There will be an opportunity to not only buy some great crafts and produce, but to see the artisans at work, engage with them and find out more about the processes involved in producing their unique pieces.

Artisans attending the event will be demonstrating woodturning, weaving using natural materials and Bee-Skep making, needle felt work, embroidery, crochet work, porcelain flower making, jewellery making, lovespoon making, dolls house miniature creating and more.

There is even a group calling themselves the ‘Vintage Artists’, who will be providing artist demonstrations throughout the day in a variety of mediums.

If you follow them on Facebook (Visit Saundersfoot) and Twitter (@SCTSaundersfoot) in the coming weeks you will find out which Artisans will be attending and a reveal of some of their crafted affordable pieces.

There will also be children’s entertainment, ‘Busker’s Corner’ and the Village Dragon Trail. Entry to the Cawl Trail is £5, entry to the entertainment is free.

Musicians who would like to apply for a 30-minute entertainment slot in the ‘Busker’s Corner’ can contact Mr. Phil Odley on 079967 002467 or email: [email protected].
