The 'Argonauts', in their very first season, have won the Pembrokeshire Five-a-Side League held at the Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth.
They topped the table with an impressive 54 points, while in runners-up spot were 'Too Little Too Late', also newcomers to the league, who totalled 44 points.
A new league will commence on Monday, February 25, from 7 - 9 pm. Two new teams are required for the new league, and any interested teams out there should contact Nigel Phillips on (01834) 860293.
The league is run by Leisure Leagues who specialise in running sporting leagues nationwide. The five-a-side teams play an intense half-an-hour game each week. All standards of team are welcome, even those who have not considered playing before. Each game is refereed, all equipment is supplied and there is no need for matching kits.
Seasons will run for between 14 and 21 weeks, with trophies being presented to the winners and runners-up.
