In less than three weeks time Oakwood re-opens its gates, but are you ready?
This Easter Oakwood is joining forces with Welsh hand-made chocolate manufacturers Pembertons for the 'Great Egg Give-away'. For Easter weekend only (Good Friday until Easter Monday) they will be giving away 3,000 Easter eggs to children under the age of 10; plus every day over Easter weekend there's the chance to win one of four giant chocolate bunnies!
For the duration of the Easter holidays (April 12 - 27) they are extending their opening until 7 pm and there's live entertainment from Swansea band 'The Belooshie Blues Brothers' twice a day, every day!
Oakwood's resident rabbit will join the Easter festivities for Brer Rabbit's Easter Party. There will be face painting, balloon modelling and 'The Wacky Tumblairs' will provide some crazy clowning around and amazing acrobatics!
Then to kick-start the new season on April 12, Oakwood has tied up with three radio stations in Wales to bring you First to Ride. If you listen to Red Dragon, The Wave or Radio Pembrokeshire in the two weeks prior to opening you and your family could be amongst the first to ride at Oakwood in 2003! Twenty-five family tickets are up for grabs on each radio station and you could win a VIP trip to Oakwood to go on all your favourite rides an hour before opening and an hour before everyone else!
