Councillors in Narberth will be assisting in the crackdown on motorists who park across flush kerbs in the town causing problems for people in wheelchairs, people with prams and pushchairs, and elderly and infirm people who rely on them to cross the road.
At their monthly meeting on Tuesday night, Deputy Mayor, Clr. Henry Langen, handed out leaflets, produced as a result of a joint initiative between Dyfed Powys Police, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Pembrokeshire Access Group, informing motorists that they were causing an obstruction, which he asked members to put under the windscreens of any offending vehicles.
