The successful Prince's Trust-Cymru programme will receive further Objective One support until October, 2004.
The established Training Outdoor Providers (TOPS) programme trains unemployed young people toward qualifications which enable them to work in the activity industry.
The programme, led by two hugely experienced instructors, Alun Richardson and Trevor Massiah, has been re-constructed to provide an intense training programme over a six-month period.
The courses will include almost all of the outdoor activities relevant to the industry in Pembrokeshire and will also include work experience opportunities in various outdoor centres as well as the opportunity to gain a minibus driving licence.
It will kick off in early December and is already over-subscribed.
There will also be an ongoing recruitment and pre-entry programme running from late January.
Anyone interested in the programme can make contact with the Trust on (01646) 603130.
