Sir, You have been kind enough to report fully the continuing battle the Trust and local residents are having with the council and Airwave O2 to prevent the Tetra mast being erected on the Ridgeway close to The Wheelabout, the Trust's holiday house for families with disabled children. The last report highlighted the fact that the County Council are not going to oppose the appeal, which is to be heard on January 24 and 25 in the De Valence, leaving the Trust to fight on alone against a very powerful organisation with vast financial resources at their disposal. The evidence that Airwave O2 is presenting to the appeal, which runs to over 1,500 pages, has now been received. Such is the weight of evidence that the trustees and their solicitor, Mr. Michael Charles, of Sinclairs Solicitors, Penarth, now estimate that the legal fees involved in fighting the case will amount to at least £12,000. The Trust operates on a very small margin and to find such an amount would place a huge burden on existing resources. We need all the help we can get and any offers of help with fund-raising or donations would be more than welcome. If anyone is prepared to help, in any way, please contact Mr. and Mrs. Davis on 01834 814645 or at the Tindle Centre, Warren Street, Tenby.
