Sir,

The Pembrokeshire Aviation Group is gathering information, both pictorial and written, on the history of Withybush Airfield, with the eventual aim of placing a permanent display in the entrance of the Terminal Building.

Wartime information is proving particularly difficult to obtain, hence this letter. Should any of your readers have either photographs or personal recollections of the past 60 years I should be glad to hear from them.

Pembrokeshire with its surprisingly rich aeronautical heritage dating from the early part of the last century is in danger of allowing much of it to be lost.

A. R. Squibbs,

Vice-Chairman,

Pembrokeshire Aviation Group,
