A Llanteg woman has lost her appeal against a conviction for planning infringements.

Caroline Henderson, of Hafod Wen, was convicted at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on May 19 of non-compliance with a Breach of Condition Notice and an Enforcement Notice issued by Pembrokeshire County Council's planning department.

The Breach of Condition Notice required alterations to an agricultural building on land to the rear of Hafod Wen, Llanteg, in order to comply with an earlier planning permission.

The Enforcement Notice required the removal of unauthorised caravans from the same land.

Magistrates fined her a total of £2,000 with £672 costs.

On Monday at Carmarthen Crown Court, she appealed against that sentence, but the appeal was dismissed.

Not only did the court uphold the sentence, but it imposed an additional £600 costs.
