Police are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in Haverfordwest. A taxi driver was called to the car park at Peggy's Lane and Gerald Road at about 5.45 pm on Sunday. A man got into the taxi and held a knife to the driver's throat and demanded money. A struggle ensued and the culprit left empty handed. He is described as white, aged in his early 20s, wearing a dark hat and a scarf across his face. Police are investigating a similar incident at Coronation Fish and Chip Shop, Back Lane, Haverfordwest, which took place at about 9.20 pm on November 22. A man entered the shop and threatened staff with a weapon and stole a till. He was wearing glasses, a beany type hat, scarf across his face and black top and trousers. Detective Sergeant Paul Callard said: "It is possible this could have been the same man and luckily nobody has been injured in these incidents. We are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward before a further crime is committed."
