TWO pupils from Pembrokeshire reached the All-Wales final to design an anti-drink/drive campaign poster for the Christmas and New Year period. Although they didn't win, Dion Rees, of Ysgol Glannau Gwaun, and Sally Smithson, of Tasker-Milward School in Haverfordwest, were invited to the Welsh launch of the campaign. The pair were among six finalists in the Dyfed-Powys final, the others being Jacob Phillips (Stepaside School), Andrew Neale (Mathry School), Lily John and Kirsty Sapsford (both of Tasker-Milward). All six attended a prize-giving day at police headquarters in Llangunnor, Carmarthen. As well as a tour of the premises, they visited the helicopter unit, the dog handling section and the operations room. They are pictured with their plaques, together with the chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. John Thomas, and the council's road safety assistant, Jeanette John.
