Stade Saundersfoot 7s rugby team are ready for another summer season with another brightly coloured kit.
The picture shows Jamie Denning-Barrellie (club chairman) and Mark Evans (club captain). The inspiration behind the shirts comes from French rugby team Stade Francais.
The team is made up from players from Wales, England and as far as Scotland.
We asked club chairman Jamie why the broad scope of players: "It started with eight or nine local lads, but after drop-outs and work related dramas, I called in some old friends from the RAF and next thing you know we have a squad of 15 players from all over."
Mark, what is the great thing about being captain of Stade Saundersfoot?
"Last year it was both a huge honour and massive surprise to be asked to captain Stade, and I can honestly say I loved every minute. I will be handing it over this year as we change the captain each year; I'm going to miss it!"
Are you looking forward to this year's tour?
"This year is going to be superb; Stade has some great new players and I can't wait to hook up again with old friends I made last year in 2010."
Jamie added: "We kept the Saundersfoot name as we all love the village and we love representing Saundersfoot in the 7s world."
Where is the future going for this team?
"Same as usual, we will continue to tour and attend festivals; we would like to see more locals in the team as so far there are only three of us left from Pembrokeshire, and only myself from Saundersfoot. I would love to see the team play locally too, but there is no 7s rugby locally, which is a shame as I'm sure Pembrokeshire could hold a fantastic festival and would attract teams from all over."
Stade Saundersfoot will be playing their first festival at Reading 7s on July 15-17.
Stade would like to thank Andy Codd, of Barry Training Services, Kim Denning at Celtic Haven and Jason Briddle for their kind sponsorship and support this season. All profits from kit sales, fundraising and from the festivals will be going to Help for Heroes.
